Yogyakarta Day 5

Mount Merapi Jeep Tour
Here comes the last day of our trip, as our flight was at 5pm, this was the only activity of our day.
The cost is 350K IDR for short trip (90 minutes).
You can choose for long trip but the difference was just the long trip involves river crossing only.

This was our Jeep for our tour.

This is our first destination, Merapi Muzium

This was the stone formed by Lava. The Tour Guide said it look like face. Can you notice it?

This was the bunker for the villager when volcano eruption happened. However, according to tour guide, this bunker can only protect the villager from the smoke, if lava flowed down, the bunker is not safe too.

Yogyakarta Day 4

Timang Beach ( Gondola ride )

Here comes the climax of our trip, GONDOLA RIDE.
The cost is 200k IDR per person

In order to reach the Timang beach, you need to hire a Jeep and let it shake you for 20 minutes before you can reach the Timang Beach. The cost for the Jeep is 350k IDR. The Jeep maximum can take 4 ppl, so the more the person you brought to shake with you, the cheaper the price u get...XD

GONDOLA RIDE !!!!

Let's go!! As you can see from the picture, there are no safety measures. You only use your hand to hold onto the rope, and let the person pull you to opposite side of the shore...lol

Photography session

We did it !!!

My Favorite picture here. The sea here was really very beautiful

Video capture by our jeep driver.

Pinus Pengger
Here comes the Pinus Pengger. The entrance is free. Most of the photo spot is free unless you want to use their DSLR to snap photo.
My wife liked to do Yoga under hot sun...XD

You see my eye, I see your eye.

Take the chance to snap photo like this while your wife still thin...lol

Pintu Langgit
This photo spot actually not so famous and it's only cost 5k IDR for us to snap picture.

Dinner
Local Satay Rice. The taste for me was a bit weird as the Satay sauce taste like Black Pepper...lol

Yogyakarta Day 3

Jomblang Cave
Here comes one of the adventurous activities of our trip - Jomblang cave.
We depart around 7.30am and reach there around 8.30 am.
Although we only can go down to the cave around 9.30am,
we have to reach earlier as they only limit 70 person per day to watch the Heavenly light.
The entry ticket is 500k IDR per person.

Boot is provided. There are many size there, for guy normally is size 28.

Get ready to be hang down a 60 feet deep cave. If u have Go-pro, pls bring it to record the process. It's fun..

After enter the cave, we need to walk through this muddy road to the deepest side of the cave.

Selfie before get muddy.

Here come the Heavenly Light. The view on spot is far more amazing compared to the picture.

View from far when everyone is searching for the photo spot.

After watching the heavenly light, the lunch is provided at the waiting area.
At there, u also can buy the photo before u got down to the cave.
The photo was printed in hardcopy, 2 photo for 50k IDR

Goa Pindul and Sungai Oya

This is our next activity - Cave tubing. It cost 160k IDR per person for two destination. Strongly recommended to get their photographer too for 200k IDR. If not, you will lost lots of precious moment.

This is how we get to the cave.

Entrance of the cave

The whole cave was owned by us that time as no tourist is there when we explored it...XD

The Bat inside the cave. Don't worry, they are not from Vampire Diary, they eat mosquito and fruit one...XD

You can do cave jumping if u dare.

and also, the whole Oya river was booked by us too...lol

There a small waterfall along the Oya river.
There's our dinner place for Nasi Ayam Goreng.

The ayam goreng was a bit different with Malaysia one as they put lots of baking powder instead of being crispy. Overall the taste is not bad but I still prefer Malaysia Style Ayam Goreng.

Timang Beach, Pinus Penger, Pintu Langgit.

Yogyakarta trip Day 2.

Borobudur Temple

We woke up around 7.30 am for our Borobudur tour as we're not willing to wake up so early to catch the unpredictable sunrise....XD ( the price was also very expensive )

the temple was very crowded that day due to the local school trip.

if u wear short pants, the staff there will give u a scarf for you to wear like Sarung.

smile😄

Let me bring you to explore the world.

Selfie

actually the sun was sibeh hot...XD

Finally found a place with not much tourist

She seems so excited when watching Buddha mural...XD

Lunch

Nasi Padang recommended by our driver Poer. The concept is basically they put all the food on the table and u choose the one u want to eat. In the end u only need to pay for the food u ate.

Chicken Church

This Church was built at 1990s . Actually when we read the info center inside the church, they actually want to build a church with the shape of Pigeon, not sure why in the end look like a chicken....XD
The entry ticket is 30K IDR per person.

This traditional snack is including inside the ticket price.

Photo taken at the tip of the chicken crown.

Kalibiru ParkThe entry ticket for Kalibiru Park is 20K IDR per person.
For each photo session, you need to pay around 30-35K to buy the softcopy of the photo which they snapped for u.
( 30-35k IDR per person for 4 photo, if want to buy additional photo need pay extra charges )

Dinner

Our dinner today was Mee Jawa and Bakmi Goreng.
The taste was very nice and it's so much different from the Mee Jawa in Malaysia

The price is very reasonable with only 20k IDR per plate.
